Genesis Center is closed on the following dates:

September 4 - Labor Day
October 9 - Indigenous People’s Day
November 13 - Veteran’s Day
November 23/24 - Thanksgiving
December 22- January 1 - Winter Recess
January 15 - Martin Luther King Day
February 19 - Presidents’ Day
March 29 - Good Friday
May 27 - Memorial Day June 19 - Juneteenth

Other important dates:

September 25, 2023 - No Daytime ESOL classes, Yom Kippur

October 27, 2023 - Agency-wide staff development; closed at 12:30 ; ELC CLOSED all day

December 21, 2023 - staff event, building closed at 12:30

February 7, 2024 - CANCELED. Rescheduled to March 6.

February 20 - 23, 2024 - RIDE Pre-K closed

March 6, 2024 -Agency-wide staff development; closed at 12PM (noon).

April 15-19, 2024 - RIDE Pre-K closed, No daytime ESOL classes

April 23, 2024 - RIDE Pre-K closed; RIDE professional development day

May 17, 2024 - Agency-wide staff development; closed at 12:30

WORKFORCE TRAINING

Walk-in job training information sessions are held online and in person at Genesis Center every Tuesday at 3:00. Attend an information session to learn about specific training programs and enrollment dates.

CITIZENSHIP CLASSES

Citizenship enrollment is ongoing, with information/registration sessions scheduled quarterly.  Please call or visit the center to sign up for evening classes, or apply online.

CHILDCARE CENTER

The Genesis Childcare Center is open year-round, except for the dates noted above under "Center-Wide Closures."
