Genesis Receives $50,000 grant from CVS Health Hometown Fund

Genesis Center was recently awarded a $50,000 grant from the CVS Health Foundation Hometown Fund for our organization’s efforts to diversify the healthcare workforce.  The Hometown Fund supports organizations in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts with general operating funds that are critical to carrying out their missions and providing high quality support to the individuals and families they serve.  Genesis has partnered with CVS Health for many years as a collaborator and employer partner in our Pharmacy Technician training program, and we are grateful that they recognize the importance of all our other healthcare training programs that have placed hundreds of individuals from our community into healthcare jobs over the last several years.  Thank you to CVS Health and we look forward to continued partnership in carrying out this important work
