Our People
We are mission-driven, client-centered, and outcomes-focused, going above and beyond for our community.
A Message from Our President

Genesis Center President & CEO
People come to Genesis Center from all walks of life and, despite their diverse backgrounds, all have something in common – the will to achieve.
Some clients speak little English. Some haven’t completed high school, and many have endured great hardships. The fact that they found our door is testimony to their ingenuity and strength. The fact that they return day after day to acquire skills is testimony to their character and drive.
The stories of our students inspire us every day. Elizabeth from war-torn Liberia is learning English and getting her citizenship so she can start a youth center. Madeline wants to become a lawyer to help victims of scam artists. Roberta’s determination to get a good paying job set the example for her daughter to become the valedictorian and the recipient of acceptance offers from nine colleges. And, Luz’s employer raves about the miracles she performs at his restaurant.
The work happening every day at Genesis Center makes it possible for people to surmount challenging obstacles and acquire the skills to become productive members of our community. They took chances to get here and, in the process, they are building a better community for us all. Together, with your support, we turn their will to achieve into the skill to succeed.
