Since 1985 Genesis Center has been providing affordable, professional childcare. Genesis Center operates a 5-star Bright Star rated Early Learning Center that allows families to learn and work, knowing that their children are being cared for in a high quality environment that emphasizes a whole-family approach to education.

The Center is licensed to serve 20 infants and 33 children ages 3-5. We care for children of all abilities and all income levels. The Genesis Early Learning Center is part of the Children’s Network Comprehensive Services Program. Through this program, eligible children receive services including case management, mental health, dental care, and supplementary educational opportunities at no additional cost to families.

Our Philosophy

At Genesis Early Learning Center, we believe that a well-balanced, play-based curriculum increases positive self-image and encourages a feeling of accomplishment and self-worth. We believe that emotional and social interactions with peers and teachers help children learn and develop self-control, self-direction and independence. We believe that offering various activities and learning situations helps children learn individual respect for cultural differences and community awareness.

The Early Learning Center provides childcare for children of all abilities and income levels. We work with a variety of community service agencies, including Early Intervention programs, school departments, private agencies and individuals who would like to sponsor a child.

We accept DHS subsidies and participate in the CACFP Nutrition Program. If you would like more information about these programs, please call and ask for the Early Learning Center at 401-781-6110.
