Students and all members of the community enroll their children in our on-site, licensed Early Learning center, where we provide quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks-5 years.

No smoking is permitted in the Center or on Genesis Center grounds. There is a childcare center in the lower level, so smokers must leave Genesis Center property while smoking.
Genesis Center offers access to computers through our computer lab, two mobile computer labs, and our student support center.

Genesis Center is not responsible for damage to theft to student vehicles or property
Genesis Center conducts regular fire drills. If the fire alarm goes off when you are in class, please follow these instructions:
ALLOW THE CHILDREN FROM THE CHILDCARE CENTER TO EXIT THE
Exit the building immediately with your personal belongings
Walk across the street to the parking lot
Stay with your class and check in with your teacher
Wait for permission to re-enter the building
Allow children from the childcare center to re-enter the building first
All visitors, including students’ family members, must check in at the front desk as soon as they enter the building. Staff is not allowed to share ANY personal information about students enrolled at Genesis Center.
PHA Location Policies
No food or drink is permitted near computers/in the computer lab.

Computers are for school or related activities only.
Additionally, you may not use the computer network to display, store or send material that is fraudulent, harassing, embarrassing, sexually explic- it, profane, obscene, intimidating, defamatory or otherwise inappropri- ate or unlawful. Anyone receiving such materials should notify their learning facilitator immediately. Learners may not attach any home (personal) computers or computer equipment to the Providence Housing Authority’s network.
Parking is available in the lot at 50 Laurel Hill Avenue. If the lot is full, there is overflow parking located beyond the designated lot.
Parking is available in the lot at 144 Dodge Street, and surrounding the building.
Parking is available in the lot at 263 Chad Brown Street. If the lot is full, there is on street parking available.
Smoking is not permitted in PHA buildings. Smokers must stay 50 feet from PHA buildings.
